Hotel was in good shape and staff was fantastic. We stayed in the building across the Malecon, King Suite. The traffic noise was a little loud in the living room but you could not hear it in the bedroom if you closed the door which is most important. Food at breakfast was good with a small variety but no complaints at all. The Hotel does not sit on a nice portion of beach but its a short walk down the Malecon to city and larger beaches in Salinas. All in all we would stay here again without question when traveling to Salinas. I do not believe there is a better hotel in the town. 1 star removed due to construction going on to upgrade some areas. There was not noise but the sections were not open.

Nice place, friendly staff. I only have 2 upgrades that need to be maade. First, Ecuador is a coffee producing country and the hotel should serve coffeeaccordingly. The coffee for breakfast was on par with Burger King coffee in the States. YUK! Some espresso would have been nice. In addition the milk for the coffe was not cream or even real milk, it was powdered milk that never completely disolved. It is what poor people who can't afford real milk buy. (BTW, I live in Ecuador , so I know of what I speak) I expect better from a prestigeous hotel. By and large it was a nice stay. Get some decent coffee, it is not hard to do.

Hotel Colon Salinas, cuenta con un excelente servicio, muy cómodo los precios, una vista espectacular, todo la gene que trabaja ahí son muy amables, la comida, típica del lugar, recomiendo que no se pierdan la visita a salinas, el hotel es muy confortable, se puede hacer reservaciones

Excelente hotel, buena ubicación. Las habitaciones amplias y cómodas; cuenta con facilidades para una jornada de trabajo en un lugar diferente. El desayuno de primera. El servicio de WiFi cumple con las necesidades para continuar las labores desde la comodidad de la habitación.

Es un hotel caro y la atención no es buena. Las habitaciones son muy sencillas. Reservamos habitaciones contiguas y nos mandaron a lados opuestos del pasillo. Cuando pedimos un cambio ni siquiera se molestaron en revisar si las habitaciones que realmente eran contiguas estaban libres. Pésimo servicio al cliente. - Quite expensive and the attention you get from staff is no good. Rooms are too simple for what you pay for. We booked joined rooms and they sent us to rooms very far away from each other. Opposite sides of the floor, in fact. When we asked for it to be fixed they didn’t even bother checking to see if they could do it. Awful customer servicez

Habitacion comoda con balcon. Por eso que le pongo 3 estrellas. Estaba a punto de poner 2 estrellas por la piscina. Nunca vi una piscina tan sucia. Nadie la limpia dirante el dia y no se puede ver el fonde de 50cm tan sucia es. La musica es demasiado fuerte como si estuvieramos en un hotel club para solteros. La terrasa desliza mucho y casi me abro el pie con un plastico de evacuacion de agua que se quebro. Esta piscina necesita reforma urgente y mas personal de mantenimiento. Seguridad pesima. Horarios de desayuno el domingo : no abre antes de las 8am. Una estupidez cuando uno solo se queda una noche y tiene que estar fuera del hotel a las 12 y no se puede aprovechar mucha la playa en la mañana por falta de tiempo. Personal amable pero al check out no les parece preguntar si disfrutamos de la estancia por miedo de comentarios negativos. Es la base del trabajo de recepción de asegurarse de eso en vez de escribir en trip advisor.

Os funcionários são despreparados e mal educados. Fazem pouco caso de estrangeiros, não atendem bem. A segurança deixou a desejar tambem. Não vale o valor da diária. A gerência não atende os hóspedes, nem mesmo quando do solicitará para reclamações.

Pésimo Carísimo. Pagamos casi 300 por la “mejor habitación” por una noche. Olía fatal y muy mal cuidada la habitación. La comida fea, las bebidas fatales, el servicio malo. Una de las peores experiencias. Cero seguridad. Habían personas borrachas tomando en la piscina y no hicieron nada por controlarlo. Arrepentimiento total
